Sign up for a basic account
Signing up for a basic account is easy and only takes 2 minutes. All you need to create a basic account is:
Your name
As it appears on your photographic ID or birth certificate.
An email address
We’ll send a confirmation code to this address.
What do I need to create a verified account?
To verify your basic MyGovID account, you will need:
A basic MyGovID account
A basic account only takes 2 minutes to create.
Your phone
Any phone that can receive text messages (SMS) will do.
Your PPS Number
If you don’t have a PPS Number you can apply for one on MyWelfare.
A Public Services Card (PSC)
If you don’t have a Public Services Card you can book an appointment to get one.
